MEWAYZ is a registered Nigerian nonprofit (CAC RC 9212772) delivering free community relief, economic empowerment, developmental disability care, healthcare access, and youth education in Uyo and Akwa Ibom State. Since 2021, we've served over 5,200 individuals.
MEWAYZ implements comprehensive programmes designed to address the diverse needs of our community, from immediate food assistance to long-term economic empowerment and disability support services.
Weekly food distribution at our Uyo center serves 300+ families monthly. Our mobile van delivers emergency aid to remote villages during crises. We also run a community kitchen serving daily meals to homeless individuals and at-risk youth.
Vocational skills training for women entrepreneurs, microgrants for small businesses, and job readiness programs to help individuals achieve financial independence and break the cycle of poverty.
Specialized care programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, including therapy services, skill development, and social integration activities to enhance quality of life.
Mobile medical camps, health education programs, and partnerships with hospitals to provide free or subsidized healthcare services to underserved communities.
