CAC/IT/NO 9212772: Our Plan

The Impact We're Building in Akwa Ibom

MEWAYZ Foundation is newly registered and preparing its first poverty-relief outreach in Uyo. This page sets out the programmes we are building and the standards of transparency we commit to from our very first day of work.

Restoration Kits — First-Outreach Goal

Our target for the first outreach cycle: full household stabilization packs (food, health, hygiene) for vetted families in Uyo. Your support makes each one possible.

10

Business Grants — Planned

Petty-trading grants and vocational mentorship we plan to offer caregivers so they can build lasting economic self-sufficiency.

Schools

Education Support — Planned

School-fee support and education kits we intend to provide to children at local Uyo primary schools as the foundation grows.

Our First Programme: Idoro Road

For our first outreach, we intend to focus on the Idoro Road district, an area with a high density of households and auxiliary workers who have been severely impacted by the recent spike in resource costs.

Our aim is simple: help stabilize the most at-risk households — those where children face the risk of being pulled from school, or of severe malnutrition.

Our Commitments:

  • Every beneficiary vetted before support is given.
  • Zero diversion of relief resources.
  • Maternal outreach clinics built into the programme.

Why We're Starting in Uyo

For many caregivers in Uyo, a single medical bill or a bad trading month can mean choosing between capital and a child's next meal. When that happens, families lose not only income but the ability to recover on their own.

MEWAYZ Foundation exists to meet that moment — with relief that stabilizes the household and grants that help a caregiver trade again. This is the work your founding support will make possible.

Commitment to Financial Accountability

As a registered Incorporated Trustee (CAC/IT/NO 9212772), we are legally bound to provide annual audited accounts to the Corporate Affairs Commission. From our first donation onward, we commit that:

Programme-First

Public donations will go directly to programme costs in the field — food, health, and grants — not overheads.

Reporting

Once outreach begins, we will publish reports detailing how many households were reached and the total spend.

Open Verification

As our work begins, donors will be welcome to review our outreach records and beneficiary vetting logs.

Financial Stewardship

MEWAYZ Foundation (CAC/IT/NO 9212772) is committed to the most rigorous standards of non-profit auditing. We believe that radical transparency is the only way to deserve the trust of our donors.
