Announcing Our Grant-Making Programmes
MEWAYZ Community Impact Foundation is pleased to announce our programmes supporting vulnerable communities and individuals with developmental disabilities in Akwa Ibom State. We invite registered charitable organisations to submit grant enquiries in Educational Support, Vocational & Life Skills, and Family Support.
Our grants and relief are designed to empower partner organisations that serve vulnerable families and individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them expand their reach and deepen their impact across the state.
2026 — Grant-Making Model
How Our Grant-Making Model Works
As a fund-management foundation, we do not operate direct-service programmes. Instead, we partner with registered charitable organisations that serve individuals with developmental disabilities, providing grant funding to support their vital work.
Each grant application is reviewed by our board of trustees against published criteria. We prioritise programmes that demonstrate clear outcomes, strong governance, and a commitment to serving those with developmental disabilities in Akwa Ibom State.
January 2026 — Foundation Milestone
A New Chapter: Official CAC Registration
We are thrilled to announce that MEWAYZ COMMUNITY IMPACT FOUNDATION has been officially incorporated as an Incorporated Trustee by the Corporate Affairs Commission (RC 9212772).
"Registration gives us the structure and the transparency that donors—both local and international—rightfully expect as we prepare to begin our work," says Chairman Raymond Anwan Edet-Okon. Our office at 25th Anniversary Estate is now open.
