The Organization
Is MEWAYZ a registered non-profit?
Yes. We are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as Incorporated Trustees (Registration No: CAC/IT/NO 9212772).
Where is your primary area of operation?
Our current operational focus is the Uyo Metropolitan Area in Akwa Ibom State. We believe in "depth over distance," ensuring our interventions are meaningful within our local neighborhoods.
Who funds the MEWAYZ Foundation?
Our work is powered by a combination of private individual donors, local business partnerships in Uyo, and the personal commitment of our trustees.
Can I see your financial reports?
Absolutely. We publish quarterly impact summaries on our Impact Page. We will publish a comprehensive annual report following our first full year.
Applying for Support
Who is eligible for assistance?
We prioritize female-headed households, widows, elderly caregivers, and families with young children facing extreme food or medical insecurity within the Uyo metro area.
What is the vetting process?
Our 3-step process includes: (1) Initial application or referral, (2) A field visit by our social impact officers, and (3) Verification of financial and social status.
Do you provide cash or items?
Direct Relief provides Restoration Kits (physical supplies). Empowerment provides Micro-Grants for petty trading capital, accompanied by mandatory mentorship.
How long does support last?
Our goal is stabilization. Relief kits bridge a 3-6 month gap, while Empowerment grants are designed to restart long-term self-sufficiency.

What is the Google Ad Grant and how do you use it?
Google Ad Grants is a programme that provides registered nonprofits with up to $10,000 USD per month in free Google Search advertising. We use it to connect people in Uyo and Akwa Ibom State who are searching for poverty relief, volunteer opportunities, or community support — directly with our services. Does the Google Ad Grant affect my donation or the services you offer?
No. The Google Ad Grant is free advertising provided by Google — it costs our organisation nothing and does not affect our programmes, services, or how we allocate donations. Every Naira donated still goes directly to field operations and beneficiary support.
I clicked a Google ad to get here — is this a legitimate organisation?
Yes. Google Ad Grants are only available to verified, registered nonprofits. Our registration (CAC/IT/NO 9212772) was independently verified by Goodstack before we were granted access. All our ads link only to our official website at mewayz.online.
How can I report a misleading ad I saw from MEWAYZ Foundation?
We take ad accuracy very seriously. If you saw an ad that seemed misleading or inaccurate, please contact us immediately with details. We review all complaints and are committed to maintaining full compliance with Google's advertising policies.
