MEWAYZ COMMUNITY IMPACT FOUNDATION is a registered community foundation dedicated to reducing poverty and improving quality of life in Akwa Ibom State — through community relief, economic empowerment, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
MEWAYZ Community Impact Foundation was established to serve as a permanent charitable resource for Akwa Ibom State. Modeled on the community foundation approach, we pool donations from multiple sources and award grants to organisations that support individuals with developmental disabilities.
Our founders, Raymond Anwan Edet-Okon and Imaobong Bruno, recognised that sustainable community impact requires structured fund management, transparent governance, and partnership with local service providers. By formalizing as an Incorporated Trustee in January 2026, we committed to absolute transparency and structural integrity.
We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards. Our CAC registration and independent governance are the foundation of our commitment to the public.

We believe that those with the resources to give carry a responsibility to strengthen the organisations that serve individuals with developmental disabilities.
Beginning in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, our mission is to raise, manage, and disburse funds to registered charitable organisations that deliver measurable impact. We are a registered Nigerian non-profit (Incorporated Trustees, RC 9212772) with independent governance. Every public donation goes directly to grant-making and community support.
MEWAYZ Foundation is governed by a dedicated team of local trustees who are personally committed to the communities we serve in Akwa Ibom State.
Chairman & Founder
Raymond founded MEWAYZ Foundation to create a structured vehicle for philanthropic giving in Akwa Ibom State. His background in community development and administration drives the Foundation's commitment to transparent fund management and measurable impact. He oversees governance, donor relations, and strategic partnerships.
Executive Secretary
Imaobong serves as the operational heart of MEWAYZ Foundation. She leads our grant-making operations, partner organisation vetting, and impact-documentation standards — ensuring every grant we award reaches the communities it is meant to serve.
MEWAYZ Foundation is registered under Nigerian law as Incorporated Trustees, fully compliant with the Corporate Affairs Commission. We conduct no commercial activity and exist solely for charitable grant-making.
