We work directly within the neighborhoods of Uyo to identify households facing extreme financial hardship, ensuring aid reaches those with the most urgent needs.

A free online shopfront for every trader we serve
Most market traders in Uyo have no way to be found online. Our team builds each verified trader a simple web page — their goods, their story, a way for customers to reach them — and hosts it free, forever. No cost, no commission, no catch. It is how we turn one-off relief into lasting income.

Why we are starting in Uyo
Uyo is a city of rapid transformation, yet thousands of households are trapped in a cycle of generational poverty, exacerbated by rising costs and limited access to formal employment.
MEWAYZ COMMUNITY IMPACT FOUNDATION was founded to bridge the gap between resources and desperate need. Newly registered and based in the community we intend to serve, we are now preparing our first field outreach to identify and support the most vulnerable caregivers in Uyo.
Where we are starting
Our first outreach is being prepared in the Idoro Road district of Uyo, where a single medical bill or a bad trading month can push a family from getting by to going without.
Our first programme is practical: give low-income market traders a free online storefront so their goods can be found beyond the people who walk past their stall — and stabilise the households closest to crisis with direct relief.
